Basketball Recap: North Bend Comes Up Short

North Bend lost against Marist on January 7th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The North Bend Bulldogs fell 37-28 to the Marist Spartans. The match marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

North Bend's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Marist, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Bend will challenge Marshfield at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Marshfield will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something North Bend surely won't give up without a fight. As for Marist, they will square off against Cottage Grove at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Marist is facing Cottage Grove at the right time seeing as Cottage Grove is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
