Football Game Preview: Corrigan-Camden Bulldogs vs. Garrison Bulldogs

Corrigan-Camden are taking a road trip to square off against Garrison at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Corrigan-Camden is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Centerville on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Bulldogs had to suffer through a 42-14 loss at the hands of the Tigers. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Corrigan-Camden got top-tier performance from William Ratliff, who rushed for 136 yards and a pair of TDs on only 11 carries. Ratliff also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because the Bulldogs are 4-2 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise. Corrigan-Camden also got a significant boost from Derrick Reagie, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 112 yards.

Meanwhile, Garrison was not the first on the board last Thursday, but they got there more often. They came out on top against Joaquin by a score of 21-12. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 5-5. As for Garrison, their record is now 7-3.

Corrigan-Camden was dealt a bruising 56-13 loss at the hands of Garrison in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Garrison's Avery Yarbrough, who rushed for 208 yards and three scores on only ten carries.
