When it comes to explaining why Central lost on Friday, don't look at Gerald Perry. Despite the final result, he went 11-for-17 on his way to 32 points. With that strong performance, Perry is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. Another player making a difference was Sier Harbin, who shot 42% from the field to rack up 15 points and eight rebounds.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 20-13. As for Mission College Prep, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-7 record this season.
