Basketball Recap: Westampton Tech Comes Up Short

Westampton Tech lost against Burlington Township back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Westampton Tech Panthers took a 62-47 bruising from the Burlington Township Falcons. The Panthers were down 53-31 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Despite the loss, Westampton Tech still got an impressive performance from Alex Jeanty, who went 5 of 11 en route to 23 points and five boards. Jeanty's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Jason Livingstone was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to five rebounds and five blocks.

Quayd Hendryx continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Burlington Township, going 8 for 15 on his way to 20 points along with five assists and three steals. Another player making a difference was Andrew Larbie, who went 7 of 13 en route to 18 points.

Westampton Tech has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-4 record this season. As for Burlington Township, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-2.

Westampton Tech has already played their next game (against Haddon Heights), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Burlington Township will square off against Haddonfield at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
