Volleyball Recap: Wylie East Takes a Loss

Wylie East was the 2-1 winner over Amarillo when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Raiders took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sandies on Thursday.

Wylie East's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Amarillo, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-3.

Wylie East has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Byron Nelson on the 21st. As for Amarillo, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Odessa on the 21st.
