Armuchee came tearing into Friday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 61-6 win over the Dalton Academy Pumas. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 182nd, while the Pumas are ranked 520th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Armuchee has also been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Dalton Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-13 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.
