With a playoff win on the line, Immanuel rose to the challenge on Friday. They put the hurt on the Nipomo Titans with a sharp 32-7 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by 23 points or more this season.

Vincent Rosander threw for 120 yards on seven of 15 attempts. Bennett Cords was his top target, picking up 51 receiving yards. On the ground, Seth Thomas rushed for 138 yards and a pair of scores on only 13 carries.

Immanuel's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their offensive performance: the team's won by an average of 30.6 points thus far. As for Nipomo, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Looking ahead, Immanuel will square off against McLane at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Eagles 5.5, the Highlanders 4.6) so any points scored will be well earned. Nipomo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
