Basketball Recap: Nathan Hale Comes Up Short

Nathan Hale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 59-38 to the Shawnee Wolves. While losing is never fun, the Rangers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 321st, while the Wolves are ranked 134th).

Nathan Hale's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Shawnee, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Nathan Hale will be playing in front of their home fans against Booker T. Washington at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Booker T. Washington's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games. As for Shawnee, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 68-60 loss against East Central on the 18th.
