Maumelle and Beebe are an even 3-3 against one another since October of 2018, but not for long. After each having a week off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Maumelle took a loss when they played away from home on September 4th, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed two weeks ago. They enjoyed a cozy 38-24 win over Vilonia. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Maumelle's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bubba Johnson, who rushed for 72 yards and two touchdowns. Christian Jackson was another key pass catcher, picking up 136 receiving yards and one score.

Meanwhile, in a tight contest that could have gone either way, Beebe made off with a 21-20 win over Greene County Tech.

Maumelle better keep an eye on Curtis Goodrich. He was instrumental in Beebe's win, rushing for 115 yards.

Maumelle's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Beebe, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
