Volleyball Recap: Crestview Comes Up Short

Crestview saw some tournament action on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Decatur Eagles.

Kaeden Foxx paced Crestview's offense, picking up five kills. Foxx got some help from Aubrey Sheffield and her eight assists. Finally, Sheffield was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Crestview now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Decatur, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season.

Crestview will take on Alexandria City at 12:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Decatur, they will take on Owasso in a tournament on Friday. The Eagles are facing the Rams at the right time seeing as the Rams are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
