Baseball Recap: South Columbus Makes It Four in a Row at Home

South Columbus won against Pender last Tuesday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. South Columbus beat Pender by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 12-1. The win continues a trend for the Stallions in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won eight in a row.

South Columbus' victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Pender, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Looking ahead, South Columbus will challenge East Columbus at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
