Softball Recap: Broome Takes a Loss

Broome was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wade Hampton Generals.

Broome's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Wade Hampton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Broome will venture away from home to take on Chesnee at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Wade Hampton, they will welcome James F. Byrnes at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Wade Hampton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.
