Soccer Recap: Irondequoit Takes a Loss

Irondequoit lost against Churchville-Chili back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles came up short against the Saints, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Irondequoit can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 299th, while Churchville-Chili are ranked 59th).

This is the second loss in a row for Irondequoit and nudges their season record down to 0-12-1. As for Churchville-Chili, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Irondequoit will square off against rival Spencerport at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Churchville-Chili is set to face off against their familiar foe Gates Chili at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
