Football Recap: Okeene Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Okeene had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Alex Longhorns 46-0. The Whippets haven't had any issues with the Longhorns recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Okeene will head out to challenge Waynoka at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alex, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Maud at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
