Baseball Game Preview: Maritime Academy Charter Seadogs vs. Swenson Arts & Tech Lion

The Maritime Academy Charter Seadogs are headed away from home for the first time to take on the Swenson Arts & Tech Lion at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Maritime Academy Charter's offense. They lost 10-0 to MAST Charter II last Tuesday. The Seadogs just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Meanwhile, Swenson Arts & Tech unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Olney on Thursday, falling 14-1. The Lion haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Swenson Arts & Tech saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayden Healy, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one double.

Maritime Academy Charter's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Swenson Arts & Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
