Football Recap: Freedom Life Academy Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Freedom Life Academy's offense. They were outmatched by the Acadiana Christian Lions and fell 60-0. The Patriots just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Freedom Life Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Acadiana Christian, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Freedom Life Academy will face off against rival Midstate Homeschool at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Acadiana Christian is set to challenge their familiar foe John Paul the Great Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Lions 9.7, the Guardians 6.5) so any points scored will be well earned.
