Paramus Catholic, St. Peter's Prep tangle for No. 1 ranking.
Paramus Catholic and St. Peter's Prep (Jersey City, N.J.) will battle for the Non-Publix IV championship this week and the winner will likely finish as the No. 1 team in the Northeast Region Football Computer Rankings.
Paramus Catholic holds down the No. 1 spot and has a six-point lead over No. 2 St. Peter's Prep. Pine-Richland (Gibsonia, Pa.), a semifinalist in the Pennsylvania Class 4A state playoffs, is No. 3 but is ranked over 10 points behind Paramus Catholic.
