Soccer Game Preview: Geraldine vs. Westbrook Christian

The Geraldine Bulldogs will face off against the Westbrook Christian Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Geraldine will be strutting in after a victory while Westbrook Christian will be coming in after a loss.

If Geraldine beats Westbrook Christian with five goals on Monday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. Everything went the Bulldogs' way against Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering on Tuesday as they made off with a 5-2 win. Considering Geraldine have won six contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, after soaring to seven goals the game before, Westbrook Christian was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They fell just short of Lincoln by a score of 2-1.

Geraldine's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-9-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those four matchups. As for Westbrook Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.
