Basketball Game Preview: Western Yell County Wolverines vs. Caddo Hills Indians

The Western Yell County Wolverines will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the Caddo Hills Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Having struggled with 19 defeats in a row dating back to last season, Western Yell County turned things around against Oark last Friday. Everything went their way against the Hornets as they made off with a 66-43 win. The Wolverines' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Caddo Hills didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Acorn on Thursday, but they still walked away with a 66-62 victory.

Western Yell County's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-11. As for Caddo Hills, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Western Yell County was taken down by Caddo Hills 62-12 when the teams last played back in November. Can Western Yell County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
