Soccer Recap: Kenton Triumphs

Kenton gave up the first goal on Saturday, but they didn't let that get them down. They had just enough and edged out the Upper Sandusky Rams 3-2. Surprisingly, this marked Kenton's fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Ellie Minter and Reese McKinniss scored all three of Kenton's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Kenton's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2-1. As for Upper Sandusky, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Kenton is taking a road trip to challenge Shawnee at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give Kenton their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Upper Sandusky, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-0 win against Columbian on the 25th.
