Basketball Recap: Centralia Comes Up Short

Centralia was the 60-55 winner over Clifton-Clyde when they last played one another on January 3rd, but their luck changed this time around. The Centralia Panthers received a blow on Saturday as they fell 65-51 to the Clifton-Clyde Eagles. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly 14 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Centralia and nudges their season record down to 6-5. As for Clifton-Clyde, their win bumped their record up to 4-5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Centralia Panthers challenge the Cair Paravel Lions at 7:10 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clifton-Clyde, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Canton-Galva on Tuesday.
