 While Otis's  win against Cheyenne Wells wasn't quite the blowout they won the last time the pair played, they still came away the winners. The Otis Bulldogs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  an  11-9  victory over the Cheyenne Wells Tigers  on Friday. The  win was familiar territory for Otis who now have three in a row.
  Erick Thorn and  JJ Ward did most of the damage at the plate:  Thorn  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3, while  Ward  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Carter Wells, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances.
 On Cheyenne Wells' side,  Perry Chadwick was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.  Brennan Framel was another key contributor,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with a  stolen base.
 Otis' victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 12-4. As for Cheyenne Wells, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost five of their last six games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record  this season.
 Otis will be staying on the road  on Tuesday to face off against Caliche at 12:00  p.m. Caliche is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1  runs per game  this season. As for Cheyenne Wells, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Stratton at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
