Baseball Recap: Sotomayor Comes Up Short

Sotomayor and Clark squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Sotomayor had to settle for second. They fell 5-0 to the Cougars. The WILDCATS were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 4-0.

Sotomayor's loss dropped their record down to 19-9-1. As for Clark, their win bumped their record up to 14-15.

Sotomayor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clark, they will challenge Dripping Springs on Thursday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight.
