Football Recap: Horizon Piles Up the Points Against Boulder

After low-scoring totals in their previous three matchup, Horizon brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Boulder Panthers 47-0. The victory continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won three in a row.

Horizon's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Xavier Hill, who rushed for 91 yards and one score on only eight carries. Grant Roe also deserves some recognition as he passed for his first passing touchdown of the season.

Horizon's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Boulder, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Horizon has already played their next game, a 32-10 defeat against Legacy on the 25th. As for Boulder, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 63-6 loss against Monarch on the 26th.
