Baseball Recap: Dartmouth Picks Up Eighth Straight Win at Home

Dartmouth waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They beat the Shepherd Hill Regional Rams by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 9-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-5 on Wednesday.

Dartmouth pushed their record up to 19-5 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Shepherd Hill Regional, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-8 record this season.

Dartmouth will take on Reading Memorial on Saturday. The Rockets will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight. Shepherd Hill Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
