Volleyball Recap: Terra Ceia Christian's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Terra Ceia Christian hadn't done well against Pungo Christian Academy recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Knights blew past the Raiders 3-0. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Terra Ceia Christian's got stronger as the match went on, holding Pungo Christian Academy to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-16, 25-13.

Terra Ceia Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Pungo Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Terra Ceia Christian will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Eastern Christian HomeSchool at 4:00 p.m. As for Pungo Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Ridgecroft on the 23rd.
