After a string of ten wins, Lumberton's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 54-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Enterprise Yellowjackets. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Yellowjackets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Lumberton's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 12-4. As for Enterprise, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lumberton will face off against East Marion at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lumberton is facing East Marion at the right time seeing as East Marion is stuck on a 15-game losing streak. As for Enterprise, they will square off against Salem at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
