Volleyball Recap: Acalanes Takes a Loss

After flying high against Monte Vista last Thursday, Acalanes came back down to earth. The Acalanes Dons came up short against the Northgate Broncos on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dons of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-8, 25-19.

Acalanes' loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Northgate, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Acalanes wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Pittsburg on the 13th. As for Northgate, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Albany on the 15th.
