Elizabeth Seton will head out on the road to face off against The Academy of the Holy Cross at 4:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Elizabeth Seton's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Our Lady of Good Counsel on Tuesday. The match marked the first time this season in which Elizabeth Seton was not able to get on the board.

Kimmya Sims spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on five hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Elizabeth Seton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sofia Chavez, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, The Academy of the Holy Cross fell victim to Bishop McNamara and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 24-0.
