Basketball Recap: Lincoln County Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

It's playoff time, and Lincoln County had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the White Pine Bobcats by a score of 38-29 on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Lynx: when they faced off against the Bobcats back in January, they had to take a 57-56 defeat.

Rowdy Lloyd was his usual excellent self, putting up 19 points and three steals. What's more, he also posted a 40% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in January. Another player making a difference was Kenyon Almaraz, who posted two points in addition to eight steals and six boards.

The win (which was Lincoln County's third in a row) raised their record to 20-9. As for White Pine, their loss dropped their record down to 16-10.

Looking ahead, Lincoln County and Needles will face off at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. Needles knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 28 contests -- so hopefully Lincoln County likes a good challenge. White Pine does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
