Baseball Recap: Regina Makes It 11 in a Row at Home

Regina had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Tipton Tigers a 7-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-0 on Monday.

Regina pushed their record up to 18-3 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Tipton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.

Tipton has already played their next contest, a 16-7 victory against West Branch on the 25th. Hopefully Regina paid attention to the Tigers' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
