Basketball Recap: Daystar Academy Comes Up Short

Daystar Academy lost to Islamic Foundation back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Falcons had to suffer through an 80-37 loss at the hands of the Chargers.

Daystar Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Islamic Foundation, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-10.

Daystar Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Islamic Foundation, they will be taking part in a tournament against Lycee Francais de Chicago at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Chargers will be up against the Lyc?e Flames' rather soft defense (which has allowed 50.94 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
