Basketball Game Preview: Stephenson Eagles vs. Bark River-Harris Broncos

Stephenson hasn't had much luck against Bark River-Harris recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Stephenson Eagles will head out to take on the Bark River-Harris Broncos at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Thursday, Stephenson was fully in charge, breezing past Mid Peninsula 65-22. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bark River-Harris). They blew past Rapid River 59-20 on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Broncos with their most commanding win of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Stephenson and bumps their season record up to 8-5. As for Bark River-Harris, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-9.

Stephenson suffered a grim 55-29 defeat to Bark River-Harris when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can Stephenson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
