Football Recap: Manhattan Picks Up Seventh Consecutive Victory + How To Watch

Manhattan extended their winning streak to seven on Friday, bumping them up to 7-0. They breezed past the Jefferson Panthers to the tune of 55-12. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Among those leading the charge was Tyson Pavlik, who threw for 213 yards and four TDs on only 15 passes.

Manhattan didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Jefferson to a completion percentage of just 34.6%. The Tigers weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 60%.

As for Jefferson, the loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 5-3. Having soared to a lofty 42 points in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

Jefferson's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyzer Zody, who threw for 139 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 30 yards.
