Tim Yates Game Report: @ Jo Byrns

Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Tim Yates: he recorded his first sack on Thursday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He also rushed for -1 yards, helping propel Whitwell past Jo Byrns by a score of 15-7. We hope Yates' good performance is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Looking ahead, Yates and Whitwell will head out on the road to face off against South Pittsburg at 8:00 p.m. on the 31st. Yates will face off against Brandon Goldsmith, the Pirates' star WR. These two stars should make plenty of fireworks, so fans can expect an exciting show. Which one brings home the W? There's only one way to know for sure.
