Volleyball Recap: Mid-Buchanan Takes a Loss

Mid-Buchanan lost against East Buchanan back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Dragons took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 19-25, 25-15, 25-18.

Bailey Coman paced Mid-Buchanan's offense, picking up 13 kills. Coman got some help from Myia Dillman and her 28 assists. Finally, Coman was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Mid-Buchanan's loss dropped their record down to 15-9-1. As for East Buchanan, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7-3 record this season.

Mid-Buchanan will challenge Logan-Rogersville at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. The last three games the Wildcats have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for East Buchanan, they will be taking part in a tournament against Cameron at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
