Mount View hasn't had much luck against Wyoming East recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Golden Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Wyoming East will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Mount View extended their winning streak to four on Monday. The Golden Knights were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over Van. Considering the Golden Knights have won 12 matchups by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Phoebe Dudgeon made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 13 over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two triples, two stolen bases, and three RBI.
In other batting news, Mount View let Shiann Carter and Ry'Anna Hood run wild. Carter went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run, while Hood went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases Hood has posted since April 5th. Another player making a difference was Kaylee Cook, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Mount View was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Van only posted a batting average of .120.
Meanwhile, Wyoming East hadn't done well against Woodrow Wilson recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Warriors came out on top against the Flying Eagles by a score of 13-10. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.
Kaydee Shrewsbury was excellent, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with four runs, one double, and one RBI. Kendra Cook was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Wyoming East pushed their record up to 4-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Mount View, their victory bumped their record up to 15-6.
