Father Capodanno waltzed into their match on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They strolled past the Haw River Christian Academy Archers with points to spare, taking the game 40-21. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 55-53 on January 8th.

Father Capodanno got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Gemma Farris out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Lott, who posted 11 points and seven steals.

Father Capodanno smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Father Capodanno now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Haw River Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Father Capodanno is taking a road trip to face off against Sandhills Classical Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Haw River Christian Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bradford Academy at 6:30 p.m. on February 7th.
