Basketball Game Preview: Era Hornets vs. Lindsay Knights

Era is 2-8 against Lindsay since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Era Hornets will take on the Lindsay Knights at 8:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Era will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Collinsville, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Era came out on top against Collinsville by a score of 41-31 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Lindsay had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 61-48 victory over the Dragons.

Lindsay pushed their record up to 14-9 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Era, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10.

Era was able to grind out a solid win over Lindsay in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 63-54. Does Era have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lindsay turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
