Soccer Recap: Jasper Comes Up Short

Jasper fought the good fight in their overtime match against Evansville Reitz on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 3-2. Jasper have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Kaeden Underhill and Brayden Weinel scored both of Jasper's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Jasper's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3-1. As for Evansville Reitz, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Jasper wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 3-3 draw against Washington on the 23rd. As for Evansville Reitz, they have also already played their next match, a 6-0 loss against Castle on the 23rd.
