Basketball Game Preview: Glenn Bobcats vs. Reagan Raiders

Glenn hasn't had much luck against Reagan recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Glenn Bobcats will welcome the Reagan Raiders at 6:30 p.m.

Glenn is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 16th straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They were outmatched by Parkland and fell 74-20. One positive for the Bobcats, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Reagan entered their tilt with R.J. Reynolds on Wednesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They strolled past the Demons with points to spare, taking the game 60-43. Given the Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 170th, while the Demons are ranked 393rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Reagan is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.4 points per game. As for Glenn, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-13.

Glenn was taken down by Reagan 60-8 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Glenn was down 37-0.
