Volleyball Recap: Catholic Central Comes Up Short

Catholic Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sun Prairie East Cardinals. If the Hilltoppers were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Cardinals when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Catholic Central's loss dropped their record down to 3-21. As for Sun Prairie East, their win bumped their record up to 14-15.

Catholic Central has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Lincoln Academy on the 6th. As for Sun Prairie East, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Lodi on the 4th.
