Dickinson entered their tilt with Brazoswood on Friday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They blew past the Buccaneers 84-39. 84 seems to be a good number for the Gators as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Leading Dickinson to victory were Valin Idusuyi and TroyNelle Belle. Idusuyi dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 boards, while Belle shot 53% from the field on his way to 17 points and seven rebounds. The game was Idusuyi's third in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayce Minteer, who went 5-for-12 en route to 11 points and three steals.

Dickinson smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

Dickinson's victory bumped their record up to 23-5. As for Brazoswood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-14 record this season.

Dickinson will venture away from home to face off against Clear Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Gators will need to watch out since the Chargers have now posted at least 55 points in their last seven games. As for Brazoswood, they will face off against Deer Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Buccaneers will be up against the Deer's rather soft defense (which has allowed 56.28 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
