Game recap: Mill Creek High School Football Team defeats Alpharetta

ALPHARETTA, Ga. - After three lead changes, Mill Creek (Hoschton, Ga.) took the lead for good when Bryson King kicked a field goal with under a minute left in the fourth quarter and held on to defeat Alpharetta (Ga.) 41-39 on Saturday.

Each side put up 14 points during the third quarter, and the fourth quarter began with the margin still at seven.

Jacorey Lewis was the top performer for the Hawks. The senior running back ran for five touchdowns. He has now scored 25 touchdowns on the season.

A 42-7 Mill Creek victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.

The loss comes after Alpharetta defeated Johns Creek 35-32 last week. With the win MC extended its winning streak to four games.
