Basketball Recap: Konos Academy Condor vs. St. George's
Konos Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 58-41 to the St. George's St. George. The Condor were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as St. George's apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played two weeks ago.
Several Condor players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Joshua Knapp, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. Knapp is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Samuel Brezina, who scored eight points plus six rebounds and three steals.
Konos Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for St. George's, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-1.
