Softball Recap: Clinton County Has No Trouble Against Monterey

Clinton County never let their opponents score on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the Monterey Wildcats.

Clinton County's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Monterey, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.

Looking ahead, Clinton County will take on Metcalfe County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs are facing the Hornets at the right time seeing as the Hornets are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Monterey, they will challenge Cannon County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 8.7 runs per game this season.
