Berwick got themselves on the board against Hanover Area on Tuesday, but Hanover Area never followed suit. They had just enough and edged out the Hawkeyes 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldogs have posted since April 5, 2024.

The result came thanks to Jake Lisnock's shutout, as he gave up just five hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, Gabe Decker was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run. The team also got some help courtesy of Grant Evensen, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

The win got Berwick back to even at 1-1. As for Hanover Area, their record is now 0-2.

Coming up, Berwick will be playing at home against North Pocono at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hanover Area, they will head out on the road to face off against Dunmore at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Hanover Area will need to watch out since Dunmore has now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.
