Football Recap: Valley View Comes Up Short

Valley View extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 19 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-10. They were dealt a 56-13 loss at the hands of the City View Mustangs. On the bright side, the 13- point effort marked the Eagles' highest-scoring contest to date.

As for City View, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-2. Considering they have won six matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

City View's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Malachi Williams, who threw for 116 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six passes.

Valley View does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for City View, they will welcome Brady at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
