Eastern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 65-41 to the St. Johns Redwings. One positive for the Quakers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for St. Johns, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastern will welcome Lee at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Johns, they will take on Grand Ledge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
