Softball Recap: Mount Everett Regional Takes a Loss

Mount Everett Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 21-3 to the Drury Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-1 on Thursday.

Mount Everett Regional saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sydney Hewins, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Mount Everett Regional's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Drury, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-6.

Coming up, Mount Everett Regional is taking a road trip to square off against Wahconah Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Drury, they will welcome McCann Tech at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
